Saving the Gorillas
AirGorilla is especially concerned about the status of gorillas in the Congo and the rangers who risk their lives amidst the bloody African civil war. Rebels involved in the periodic civil war have been taking residence in the national parks and engaged in slaughtering the rare and special Mountain Gorilla species. Out of spite, even, they have murdered volunteer park rangers. Please take a moment to read blogs and videos about how critical the situation is and how urgently help is needed. Even if you simply educate yourself and enable others to know of the plight of the gorillas, you would be helping. If you can make a donation to the non-profit foundation, Wildlife Direct surely would appreciate any assistance they can find. There are many recent press stories about the atrocities and hard work being done.
